First some FAQ’s…

We love dogs.

Some of our favorite regulars walk in on four legs, and we believe a neighborhood garden is even better when it's shared with pups and the people who love them.

To help keep the patio comfortable, safe, and welcoming for everyone, we ask that all dog owners observe the following:

Keep Them Close

For the safety of your dog, our guests, and our staff, all dogs must remain under the control of their owner at all times. We front a busy roadway and want to make sure all fur babies stay safe.

Friendly, Social Dogs Only

Please bring only dogs that are comfortable around strangers, other dogs, children, and a lively patio environment. If your pup becomes overly anxious, reactive, or aggressive, we may ask that you take a break from the patio for everyone's comfort.

Keep the Walkways Clear

Please keep leashes short enough to avoid creating trip hazards for guests and staff moving throughout the patio.

Owners Are Responsible

Your dog is your responsibility while visiting. Please supervise them at all times, discourage excessive barking, and promptly clean up any accidents. If you need supplies, just let one of our staff know—we're happy to help.

Paws off the Goods

While we know they're adorable, and probably great bartenders, please keep dogs away form food contact areas. This helps us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests.

Water Is On Us,

so are the T-R-E-A-T-S

We're always happy to provide fresh water for your pup. Just ask your bartender, and we'll gladly bring out a bowl. Treats are in the self service box along with playing cards and koozies.

Please Ask Before Saying Hello

Not every dog wants attention, and not every guest is comfortable around dogs. A quick "May I pet them?" goes a long way toward making everyone feel welcome.

Service Animals

Trained service animals are always welcome throughout Gaslight Gardens in accordance with applicable law.

While we do our best to partner with local food trucks and vendors, Gaslight Gardens does not operate a food program. That said, we welcome outside food from our North Lawrence Neighbors and other local businesses!

As we've continued to refine our live music programming, we've moved our booking process into a dedicated submission form. This helps us keep track of requests, review music, coordinate dates, and make sure nobody accidentally falls through the cracks.

The form will ask for a few things including:

• Music samples

• Marketing photos

• Preferred date

• An alternate date

• Contact information

• Poster and promotion details

Once submitted, your inquiry will enter our review queue and we'll follow up as we're able.

A quick note: Friday and Saturday bookings prioritize artists local to Lawrence and the surrounding area. Touring and non-local acts are absolutely welcome, though we may ask that they perform alongside a local opener.
